Ernst has the function as a model for all in all 38 trainees, of whom 33 are in the industrial technical sector. For a further positive development, highly qualified employees are needed, who are preferentially trained by us. The apprenticeship requirements are increasing permanently. More complex contents have to be communicated practically. To be able to meet these requirements, we train from the basic training according to the model of complete action. The intention of this method is to teach the trainees acting independently. The further development of the social competence will additionally be supported by teamwork and workshops.

With the purchase of a water jet cutting installation we have a completely new technology at our company and are able to meet the daily requirements still more flexible and faster.
This technology is suited for all metallic materials, in particular also for non-metallic.
We are able to process parts up to 1.000 x 600 mm, the traverse paths are 600 x 600 mm.
This machine is able to cut parts until a thickness of 120 mm.
The maximum part weight is about 300 kg.
We are continually investing in the latest equipment to meet the demands of today's marketplace for more functionally complex components.
Our most recent addition is an 8000 kN capacity Mueller-Weingarten press equipped with both transfer and dual-axis feed systems to handle a wide array of complex components made of high strength and conventional materials.
"Ernst works with high end simulation software for metal forming. It enables us to simulate in advance complex metal forming processes. Thus, the results can be previewed on the screen. Currently we run the verification of the assumptions. This teaching leads to ever more precise results with an ever higher accuracy of prognosis," explains Herbert Gieringer, managing director of design and operations at Ernst.
The office building for procurement, development, sales and project management simplifies the internal workflow considerably. Especially with the production management located in the nearby building. This transforms the headquarters in south west Germany to a global turning platform of customer contacts and the supply chain in the middle of a European cluster of sheet metal forming.
Ernst provides development service and series production of punched and deep drawn parts for the automotive and appliance industry. Core competence is metal forming and metal treatment with progressive tooling, transfer forming and deep-drawing. As a family owned supplier Ernst Umformtechnik has at its disposal a production network in several countries with globally standardized processes.
